I make a montage for you and send you a version suitable for displaying on your computer or a website; you can opt to have prints on a variety of sizes of paper and gift items. While the printing is standard, creating each montage is different and involves varying amounts of work, so I'll quote you an individual price for making your montage artwork. This is based on
- whether you give me digital photos or prints (the latter need to be scanned and sent back)
- how many images are to be combined and how complicated the shapes are
This is how it works - it looks a bit complicated at first sight but it can all be quite quick by email. There are two main stages - producing and agreeing the artwork for your montage, then printing it.
- Stage 1 - producing your artwork:
- You tell me what you want (including printing) and how many images are involved; I give you an estimated price
- You supply the images; digital images by email or on a CD or memory card in the post, prints by post
- I confirm the estimate, you pay for the artwork and on receipt I make your montage
- I send you a proof (low quality image with a proofmark through it) preferably by email, alternatively in the post
- You approve the artwork and I send you the computer-screen version.
- Stage 2 - printing: You pay for the printing and your montage print is produced. NB if you change your mind at this stage about how you
want it printing, your montage could be the wrong proportions - significant changes to make it fit a different shape will incur an extra cost.
